Personas
A web persona describes the average user of a website--generally the target audience. It can be helpful to develop a persona for your website so you have a clear picture of who your target audience is.Here is a sample persona for BabyCenter:
Kelly is a 28 years old.She lives in surburban Midlothian, VA.
She graduated from University of Maryland with a Bachelor's Degree in Family Science.
She works as a Kindergarten Teacher.
Kelly is a first-time mom.
Kelly enjoys going to yoga on the weekends.
She and her husband love going to food festivals in the city.
Goals:
- Gather information on her pregnancy
- Gain a support system during pregnancy and after birth
- Find articles about baby care
- Build confidence to be a mother for the first time
